I L Beeks LTD upgrade their contract management processes alongside Xero

April 8, 2020

I L Beeks Ltd, locally known as Beeks is a construction company based in High Wycombe. Specialising in both residential and commercial works. Designing and building new homes, clubhouses and office spaces.

The team at Beeks had been using a limited job costing system for a number of years alongside spreadsheets. CIS was being managed manually.

They also had no integration with their accounting package. As Beeks has grown into a larger company the job costing and management process was becoming difficult to track retentions and applications alike.

Beeks had been looking at what was available to them in the market and has looked into the likes of WorkflowMax, but didn’t feel they were the right fit for the company moving forward.

Beeks needed a system that integrated with Xero as well as simplifying the tracking of sales applications and retentions.

Construction Manager is a full cloud solution which enables the team at Beeks to access all their job costing information from anywhere with an internet connection. This also means that there is no need for bulky servers to keep the applications running.

Construction Manager from JNC Solutions now integrates with Xero and Sage allowing information to be passed from one system to another without the need to manually duplicate entries.

Within Construction Manager applications are produced without raising a VAT invoice and can include dayworks, variations and retention values. Retentions are also flagged when they are due and overdue

The CIS module within Construction Manager also automatically works out CIS tax to be deducted, and certificates can easily be on a weekly, monthly or yearly basis. Submissions to HMRC are also done within the software.
